What is the annual Model Train Show & Sale?

The Garden State Central Model Railroad Club, Inc. presents its annual All Scales Model Train Show & Sale at InfoAge Science & History Museums in Wall, NJ, every September featuring an array of bargain second-trains, hard to find models, and the latest in high-quality model railroad products the vendors at the show bring. Plus the club’s HO layout will be operating.

Is this event family friendly?

Yes. The show is designed to be welcoming for families, train enthusiasts, and casual visitors alike. It is perfect for experienced modelers and those looking to get started.

When is it happening?

Satuday Septemer 19, 2026 from 10am to 3pm.

Is this the same as InfoAge’s regular schedule?

No. The sale opens at 10am. The rest of the museums open from Noon to 5pm. They are included in the All Scales Model Train Sale & Show admission.

Where is it located?

InfoAge Science & History Museums, 2201 Marconi Road, Wall, NJ 07719, inside the historic Camp Evans National Historic Landmark.

Can I get there by train?

Is the venue handicapped accessible?

Yes. The museum campus is equipped with ramps and handicapped entrances. Inquire at the gate or call (732) 280-3000

Is free parking available?

Yes, parking is free in the museum lot on Marconi Road.

How much are tickets?

Adults $10 & Children $8 (4-12, under 4 free)

Does admission include the rest of the museums?

Do I need to buy tickets in advance, or can we just show up?

All tickets are sold walk-up day of show. 

Do you accept credit cards or cash only?

Most vendors accept credit cards and cash. 

Can we play with the trains?

Some, yes. There are designated push button layouts that visitors can run in the railroad museum room.

Will serious model railroaders and beginners enjoy the sale?

Yes, there is something for everyone.

Is the museum accessible for strollers/wheelchairs?

Yes. Ramps and paved areas allow for full access.

Are restrooms available on site?

Yes, in multiple areas around the campus.

Is food or drink available?

Limited beverages and snacks available for purchase in the gift shop.

What should we wear/bring?

You will be going outside for brief moments between buildings (though most are connected via inside corridors). Please dress according to the weather forecast.

What happens if there’s bad weather?

Can school or scout groups book a special visit?

No, service animals only.
